The bracelet is inspired by the La Tène artwork of the historic Ardagh Chalice that was accidentally discovered in 1868 in Ardagh, County Limerick by a potato farmer. It is dated as far back as the 8th century making it the best preserved and finest example of precious metal work of this era.
